Videopicker is a launch program for Apples DVD player. To use it you need to have some stored DVD - VIDEO_TS folder(s). You can make these using Apples iDVD (do a save to disk image then open and copy the contents to your harddisk). Or you could use a tool that rips the contents from a DVD. MacTheRipper which is availble from here http://www.ripdifferent.com/~mtr/ works very well. You can now use VideoPicker to rip the DVD contents directly to your harddisk. The ability to burn VIDEO_TS folders back onto DVD, so you can give copies of the family video to your friends.

Videopicker is opensource and available for download in sourcecode format from sourceforge at this address http://sourceforge.net/projects/videopicker/. Please help this project, the least you can do is let us know what you like and dislike.
